I am SOOOO making these for my class!

Hi Internet,

Remember how I'm a little obsessed with Groundhog's Day? And last year I a little bit had a party? WELL! I've decided I'm going to try to spread my love of Groundhog's day with the future generation. Aka, my kindergartners!

I found some cute little games, books and activities we can do on Tuesday, before the big event. I think I might even make them some groundhog headbands to be festive! Oh, and you had better believe I'll be making and bringing in these adorable little guys for the day of!

Isn't he cute???
I'm so excited!

So I felt like a facelift...

Hi Internet,

Guess who finished her Ethics paper with 15 minutes to spare. Score! Is that ethical? Sure! So, in honor of surviving wintermester and the new year, I decided to revamp the ol' blog layout.

What do you think?

Oh, and don't worry, the music player is still here, I just moved it to the bottom of the page and you click on it. That way if you are trying to blog stalk me at work your boss won't be  blasted with some Glee and blow your cover. :) Oh, and I added more of my faves. You're welcome in advance!

Look who I spent the day with... Awww. I love snuggling on a baby!

I Sold My Christmas Vacation to the Devil

Ok Internet, so not really....

But close. I'm taking an intensive 2 week, 3 credit class and I feel it sucking my life. But I keep reminding myself that I'll be thankful later this semester when I only have to take 4 classes.... OY!

I'm SOOO ready for tomorrow though. I miss my kindies! I can't wait to hear what Santa brought them and all the other fantastic things they have to say. :)

But don't worry, I had a Liz and Noey fix to tide me over. Here are some pics from when they came to visit at Christmas.

PS. I've started a new blog about my New Year's resolution to run and lose weight. As I realize not everyone cares about this and I don't really fancy the idea of exposing myself to the world wide web, it is private. Send me your E-mail address if you care to read.

"Next Year All Our Troubles Will Be Miles Away"

Happy New Year Internet!!

Well, I just cleaned up after my New Year's Bash, it was a success if I do say so myself. Complete with a fireworks show and great fun and good company.

I've been thinking about what I want my New Years Resolutions to be all week and I came across something that really struck me. I realize this may seem a little late, but trust me, there is a point. Last week I was watching Meet Me in St. Louis, cause I have never seen it. And there's a scene where Judy Garland is singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and the words really hit me. Go ahead, listen for yourself.

So, the song says:

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light
Next year all our
troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay,
Next Year all our
 troubles will be miles away.

Which really got me to thinking about 2010. It has been a HARD year for me. As I look back I am amazed that I even survived. But then I heard the song and there was something that resonated with me about troubles being miles away. While I completely recognize that life isn't going to be perfect in 2011, I find hope in the fresh start 2011 brings!

So, I share with you, for the purpose of making myself more accountable...
