Frazzled teacher here! Here are the highlights:
-Last minute got switched from a Kindergarten teacher to a Kindergarten AND 1st grade teacher.
-Went from 9 kids to 16 students, over night!
-District Superintendent came to visit my room on day 1
- Had a student fracture his growth plate in his ankle on day 2
- Have 2 students who speak Russian as their primary language and don't speak much English
But my classroom is pretty awesome!

Oh, the joys of being a 1st year teacher!

Anyhow. I wrote a proposal to get some supplies for my students.

You're a rock star. I've been dying to know how Sterling and your new life has been treating you. If anyone can balance a combo class, it's you. Those kids are blessed to have you! We all miss you. Elsie talks about you all the time about you- she carries the books you gave her around and she even credits you with teaching her how to open the front door. Liam has loved the Tree House books and is reading a chapter a day. You are loved and missed. I didnt see this post until the match date was too late but I would still love to help out your class. Best of luck!
Also, I will never forget when you called my babushka in Ukraine (with a bit of roommate help)so those Russian kids are lucky to have a savvy teacher like you.
