Happy Valentine's Day!

Hey Internet!

Sorry I've been AWOL, that's what happens on vacay! ;)
But, I did want to mention that I was at the hospital for over 24 hours this week with my Grandma and didn't find one hot doctor to be my Valentine! :(
Maybe next year!
Stay tuned for awesome pics of our delicious Valentine's Day Feast!

I've GOT to get me one of those WANDS!

Hi Internet,

I'll be brief today cause I should sleep so I can finish my moving. I'm all boxed and relocated, now all that's left is cleaning. If only I could do it Sleeping Beauty Style....

Ps. EVERYONE knows the dress looks better in blue.

I. Hate. Moving.

Internet,

I'm moving out of the fly duplex this weekend. Tear. It's like the end of an Era. I will miss this place!

BUT. This is how I feel right now:

Dear Boxes,
Please pack yourself.
Love,
Me.

*If you want to fill a box, by all means, stop by! haha

'你好' [nǐ hǎo]

Hello Internet.

You maybe didn't know that Valentine's Day is coming soon! It is! And fortunately for me, I will be in lovely Southern Oregon! Yippee! I mean don't get me wrong. Valentine's day is AWESOME if you have a bestie or a fella. But if you don't, it's about as fun as going to school with 2 left shoes. (Which I accidentally did in 5th grade.... ask me about it sometime. Haha)

So, for those of you not fortunate to have wonderful Valentine's Vacay plans like myself... I have found you a WONDERFUL solution!!

Did you know that this year Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day JUST so happen to fall on the same day? Well they do!
So, I give you Single ladies and fellas permission to celebrate with the Billions of people in China on February 14th!

I have taken the liberty of providing you some Chinese New Year Celebration Tips:

All about Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year is a holiday that celebrates the beginning of a new year according to the lunar calendar. It is considered to be one of the most important holidays for Chinese families.

2010 is the year of the TIGER- Rawr.

*Make Paper lanterns or learn about Chinese Culture.
*Have a Chinese Feast YUM!!! And eat with chopsticks
*Make Your own Fortune Cookies
*Fireworks!!

Have fun planning your celebration!

PS. My blog title is how you say hi in Chinese!

I have a confession to make...

Happy 30 days before March 5th Internet!

I'm getting excited for my vacay! But I also realized that there are quite a few movies out right now that I've been wanting to see:

They all look fantastic and my favorite genre: Sappy Lady Chick-Flicks!

Now for the confession..... I have never, in my almost 26 years never gone to a movie by myself. I just have never done it. I'm afraid to for some weird reason. Like someone in the theater is going to judge me for flying solo. Or it might be the fact that I like to talk during movies (Yes, I am THAT girl, but I'm really funny!) and I don't want people to think I'm talking to myself...

But you know what? In 2010 this lady is going to conquer that fear and see one of these movies solo-at the Movie theater.

Hold me to it.

Magical I tell ya. Magical.

Internet.

Today was Magical. 2nd Best Groundhogs Day ever. I say 2nd Best cause the BEST was 2 years ago when my Grandpa got baptized.

But, this year. We went all out. We had about 30 people there (sorry, I didn't get a picture.) BUT, I did get some pre-party shots of all our hard work and delicious snacks!

We put shadows all around the house. Which was appropriate because apparently Punxsutawney Phil saw his today. Yep. 6 more weeks of winter.

Some of our yummy "Dirt" inspired treats.

And the traditional German Chocolate Cake with a cute little Groundhog popping his head out. (Isn't he cute?)

What a Great day! :)

It's My Favorite Holiday!!!

Internet,

HAPPY GROUNDHOGS DAY!!!!!

Yes, this internet is a MAGICAL holiday. Like unto the first snow. We like to call it the most under appreciated holiday in the world. BUT, not it our family. Oh, no. we celebrate in a major way! Infact this year me and Hayley-Bug are throwing a HUGE Groundhogs Day Bash. It will be life changing!

I'm adding this to my bucket list. Be in Punxsutawney on the big day! But just ONE time. ;) If you haven't seen this, you really should!

Here's to hoping Phil sees his shadow!
