Greetings from the Volcanic Ash Working Group Meeting. Yup. Almost as boring as it sounds. I'm here for work, and feel utterly out of place as heads of Rolls Royce, Alaska Airlines, US Army and Airfoce, Canadian Airforce and scientists talk about the impact of ash from volcanoes on airplanes.
Oh, and did I mention we have representatives from the Ministry of Defense here too??
Not to be confused with the Ministry of Magic.

So, yeah. I'm here. Doing my best to stay awake and pretend that I am interested. I have learned a lot.... just not my interest area. I do get to have cookies and lemon bars, so I guess it's worth it?
