Oh Frosty.

Hey Internet,

So, remember how I told you about how I REALLY loved the Hunger Games? Maybe I didn't blog about it? But, anyhow. I read listened to the Hunger Games last year and I really enjoyed them.

You should read them because the movie is coming out soon and you know how I feel about reading the book BEFORE you see the movie.

BUUUT.

If you're too lazy/don't enough time/ attend the Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too

My little brother has taken upon himself of Vlogging the book, chapter by chapter.
He's a pretty funny Chap.

I recommend you watch even if you hate the Hunger Games. Cause my brother's so dang witty.

But how can you hate this????

*Disclaimer: I don't usually like or read sci-fi/ Dystopian society themed books, and at one point as I was reading I was like wait, they're gonna fight to the death? This is HORRIBLE! I can't read it.... BUT, I kept reading, and LOVED it-which is a sign of something well written. So, you should read it.

In A Relationship!

Hi Internet!

Life has been pretty busy. I've been pretty preoccupied with my newest relationship.

Yep.

You read that correctly, I am in a pretty serious relationship with a certain fella.

He's a lawyer.

He's smart.
He's funny.

He's a snappy dresser.

AND he's wealthy.

Internet, may I present to you....

Captain Matthew Crawley. Dreamy huh?

He's currently in a wheel chair due to a shrapnel wound, but I have high hopes he'll be walking next week. Oh, did I neglect to say that he's a character on my new favorite show Downton Abbey?

Confession. Not a real person. Not my boyfriend*.
That said, if the captain asked me out, I wouldn't turn him down like SOME people.... cough, Lady Mary, cough! (Don't get me wrong I LOVE Mary, but I REALLY want her to get over herself and just marry Matthew already!)

Have you seen Downton?? I LOVE it!!!
When it came up on my Netflix I was like meh, and it took me a few minutes, but then I got into it.

It's like a cross between Pride and Prejudice, Anne of Green Gables and the Sopranos.

And the best part, WAY clean!

You HAVE to watch** it!!!!

What are you waiting for??? Go watch!

*I  have no immediate prospects of a boyfriend. It would be more likely for Captain Crawley to jump in the future 100 years and ask me out than someone here. haha :)
**Season 1 is free on Netflix and Season 2 is free on PBS

Fast Food Free February

Happy Groundhog Day Internet!

So, My cousin and I made our oh, so adorable groundhog cupcakes to celebrate.

Sadly, Phil saw his shadow, so six more weeks of winter, but you could have fooled Alaska because I woke up to a BALMY 26* this morning. (Yes, 26 is HOT compared to the -50* we experienced over the weekend!)

So, I've decided that this February I am going Fast Food Free! I've been eating so much crap lately, being so busy with school and have McDonald's right across the street from campus. But for the next 4 weeks I'm giving it up!

Yep. You heard me internet. No food in a paper sack or through a drive through window. (I'm not saying no restaurants, I have to be realistic haha!) But I'm committed.
Anyone care to join me?

Too Cute for Words!

Hey Internet,

Check me out! Look who's posted twice in 2012. Yep. This girl. I also figured out how to import videos from my iPhone, so I am pleased to share with you what I consider to be, a video of THE cutest little lady in the WORLD!

I'm warning you. This is adorable. You might even want to hug a puppy after watching. They are THAT cute.

Are you ready?

So, my sister's dog, Sophie, LOVES to go for car rides and if you even SAY the word car she jumps up. Well, Ms. Hannah thought it was SOOO funny to watch Sophie jump she was squealing with delight.

I LOVE her little face at the end.

"Back to School. Back to School..."

Hi Internet,

So, I guess I've turned into a once a month blogger. Shame on me. I will work on being better in 2012.

So, today was the first day of the semester. I secretly LOVE the first day of school. The anticipation, the new classes, and don't get me started on the new binders, folders, notebooks and school supplies.

LOVE!

I feel a little like this fella actually.

This is my first semester where I'm taking JUST education classes. You heard me, NO GENERAL EDUCATION CLASSES! Wahoo!!!

So, my classes went GREAT today! I only had 2, and they're gonna be hard work, but I'm excited!

It was also pretty cool because we have to observe a classroom for my literacy class and the school where we are being placed is where one of my teachers is teaching at. She is a FABULOUS teacher. She's the only person that had all 5 kids in my family in her class. That woman knows her stuff, and I requested to be in her class, and guess what?! I got it! I can tell this is gonna be a GREAT semester.

And, just for fun. Some gratuitous cute niece/cousin pics. Cause LBH, a blog post without pictures is BORING!

Our Little Santa Girl
Awwww!
On her Blessing Day. SO cute right!?
My Date for New Years. Precious huh?
